SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – A woman was deliberately hit by a vehicle near the northeast side of Syracuse on Saturday night.
Syracuse police responded to the intersection of Green Street and Hawley Avenue at around 10:15 p.m. for an attack call.
The officers located 29-year-old Natasha Vargas from Syracuse, who was injured and lying on the street. She was taken to Crouse Hospital, where she is expected to survive.
According to police, the investigation found that Vargas was deliberately hit after an argument with a 34-year-old man, Roun Roun, from Syracuse.
After Roun met Vargas, he fled the scene. A short time later, officials located and arrested the suspect.
