Syracuse, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times on Syracuse’s West Side on Thursday night but is expected to survive, according to Syracuse police.
At 3:50 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Kellogg Street for the reported shooting, Syracuse police spokesman Sgt. Matthew Malinowski said.
Officers found the man, who had been shot in the midsection multiple times, Malinowski said. The man was then taken to Upstate University Hospital, Malinowski said.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
