Syracuse, N.Y. — Two more Syracuse hospitals are restricting visitors as coronavirus cases increase in Onondaga County.
Crouse Hospital announced it is suspending visitation effective today in all areas of the hospital except in the emergency department, maternity unit, neonatal intensive care unit and in special circumstances involving end-of-life care or patients with cognitive issues or developmental disabilities.
St. Joseph’s is banning visitors except in its mother/baby unit, emergency department and for pediatric patients, patients being discharged and patients for whom a support person has been determined to be essential.
Upstate University Hospital also announced visitation restrictions Wednesday.
